1st prize -  Lloyds of London - Anny Sun

Judges comments: This photo breaks the rules of photography but works. A new approach to an often taken photo, this photo breaks the rules of photography but works and its relevance to the theme is shown through the juxtaposition of selective focus towards the Lutine bell, the symbol of the Lloyd’s building. Conversion lines work well within this photograph

2nd prize -  85 Swain's Lane - Joseph David

Judges comments: A simple graphic image. The diagonals are good, and the light and composition of photograph are balanced in a lovely way. The simple silhouettes of the people inside gives the photo a sense of scale in an an artful way. Responds to the theme through contrast of inside and outside, materials and shadows.

3rd prize  - Foreign & India Office  - Richard Thomson

Judges comments: This photo has many layers, there is a juxtaposition of focus (sharp in foreground on girl, soft in background). She is holding a digital camera, a nice contrast with the Victorian murals and architecture. It makes us curious about the image she has taken. Shows the involvement of the girl with the building, and in this sense represents what Open House London is all about.

Under 25 Category

1st prize - Tower 42 - Kerrie Weller

Judges comments: Good use of contrasting light and shade, the photographer has carefully considered the composition and situation of the chairs suggesting an intimate gathering juxtaposed with the cityscape beyond.

2nd prize - Leatherseller's Hall - Jason Williamson

Judges comments: A unique perspective of the city. A contrast not only of materials – cobbles to classical to contemporary facades, but also of light and shade. Inclusion of the kiosk in foreground is unusual.
