'Behind Closed Doors'

Five’s face of property and architecture, Charlie Luxton, will present Behind Closed Doors, in which he tracks the opening of exceptional buildings to the public as part of this year's Open House London.

In this week-long, seven-part series, transmitting on the 8th September, Charlie will give the viewer an access-all-areas tour of some incredible buildings the public never usually gets to see. In each show Charlie offers his personal preview of four selected buildings which viewers can go and see as part of Open House London, plus one building outside London.

As well as breaking into the Bank of England, Lloyd’s of London and The Treasury, Behind Closed Doors will also go underground to a rarely opened World War II bunker in Neasden, and the James Watt steam engines at the Victorian Crossness Pumping Station.

The programmes air on five from 11.30am every day in the week of 8th September, plus a peak time edition at 8pm on Friday 12th and concluding on Sunday 14th at noon.

Visit the five website for more detailed listings information for each programme...and don't forget to set your recorders!
