Open House London - photography competition ‘Inspired!’

Open House invited keen photographers to enter our brand new photography competition, submitting images of buildings visited during Open House London 2008 that capture the essence of how it has inspired in an interesting, engaging and striking way.

Entries were judged by an expert panel: renowned architectural photographers Grant Smith and Dennis Gilbert, and Jessica Cargill-Thompson, formerly Deputy Editor, Time Out. Prizes were provided by Snappy Snaps.

Photographs were judged against the three criteria: creativity; quality of photograph and its relevance to the theme 'inspired'. The judges were very impressed with the entries overall, the standard in the competition was excellent with clearly much thought being given to the subject, and the number of entries was very high.
